A series of comic strips based off the cult classic Jucika comics from the late 50s to early 1970s by Hungarian cartoonist Pal Pusztai (1919-1970). The comic revolved around a pretty young woman who was rather cunning and independent but could also be seen in multiple relationships as the case might be. The comic ended with Pusztai's death, unfortunately, since his publishers at the time felt that no one could replicate his unique style and humor. After a while, I decided to try making a few Jucika strips of my own, mainly as an excuse to draw her in fetching 1970s fashion we never got to see her in, but also as a way to exercise my drawing and writing skills. I've made a quite few, both digitally and sketched out, it's a lot of work, but also a lot of fun! Lemme know what you think!
